The calendar may say spring, but in Northeast Ohio we know there are many gray and rainy days to endure before the sun's warmth coaxes reluctant buds to open. Living so close to Lake Erie means spring also brings a blanket of fog that is pulled back the further inland you drive.
So while we may gripe and groan about the weather, Christian Science Monitor assistant photo editor Joanne Ciccarello explains how "a rainy day has its own sparkle."
