KnowledgeWorks book wins award

For the second year in a row, the KnowledgeWorks small schools storytelling books have won a silver award from the Council on Foundations. The awards are not yet posted online, but here's what we received from KWF:
One judge commented, “Loved the idea of storytelling to address impact – anecdotal evidence speaks to emotional core as does education… could serve as a model for others.” The three judges gave us 4.5 out of 5 on “readability/clarity/organization” and said this of the writing:
• Judge A: Written very well
• Judge B: Stories are very engaging
• Judge C: Very well written, engaging
Congrats to all my fellow storytellers and to our fearless and tireless editor, Linda, who never fails to keep us on task.

Here's a link to an excerpt from my 2007 stories.
