Cold becomes relative
It's been so freaking cold in the past few weeks that it felt downright balmy on my run this morning. I love running in a gentle snowfall because it's snow quiet and peaceful. Toward the end of my run, the streets were becoming pretty slick and snow-covered. Flakes were big enough to stick to my eyelashes, thus impeding visibility, which is not a good thing when you're running in the street. But the good news is my weekend spent updating my iPod made for a great workout. Special thanks goes to my 14-year-old son, Ryan for his very good suggestions for lifting music!
