Wendy A. Hoke: I am a storyteller. As a journalism student I dreamed of traveling the world and telling the stories of people and places (more Martha Gellhorn than Georgie Anne Geyer). While I didn't do so traveling the world, I did spend 20 years writing about people from all walks of life as a journalist for a variety of publications both local and national. With the tightening of freelance markets and college tuition looming, I ventured into healthcare marketing and communications, where I learned to share the evolving story of how a small urban hospital can make a difference not only in the lives of individuals but also in the Cleveland community through video, audio, print and digital content.
